These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to the Limitless WoW website, game server, Discord community and any other service we run (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, the Server Rules, the Privacy Policy and the Donation & Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. About the Service
Limitless WoW is a free, non-commercial, fan-operated project that emulates a World of Warcraft 7.3.5 game environment for entertainment and educational purposes. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored or approved by Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. World of Warcraft and related names and artwork are trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment. See the Legal Notice.
The Service is provided free of charge. Playing never requires a payment.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to create an account.
- If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
- You may not use the Service if you have been permanently banned from it before.
3. Your account
- Provide a valid email address you control. It is used to log in and to recover your account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything done with your account. Do not share accounts.
- Accounts, characters, items and points are not your property. They are licensed to you for use within the Service and cannot be sold, traded or transferred outside the game.
- Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to follow the Server Rules. In particular you will not cheat, use bots or third-party tools that automate gameplay, exploit bugs, attack or overload our infrastructure, harass other players, or buy or sell game content for real money. We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate.
5. Donations and virtual items
Donations are voluntary gifts that help cover hosting and development. They are not purchases. Limits, Breakers and anything obtained with them, have no monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash and may be changed, rebalanced or removed at any time. All donations are final and non-refundable, as described in the Donation & Refund Policy.
6. Enforcement, suspension and termination
We may warn, mute, suspend or permanently ban any account, remove characters, items or points, or restrict access to the Service if you break these Terms or the Server Rules, or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Service or its players. Suspended or banned accounts are not entitled to any refund or compensation. You may stop using the Service at any time and may ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy).
7. Changes and availability
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uptime, the preservation of characters or progress, or that the Service will continue to exist. We may add, change, wipe or remove features, content, characters or the entire Service at any time, with or without notice.
8. User content
Character names, guild names, chat and anything else you submit must follow the Server Rules. You grant us permission to display this content within the Service, including on the public armory and leaderboards, and to remove it at our discretion.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Limitless WoW and its volunteers are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data, loss of progress or loss of virtual items arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you donated in the 30 days before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced in the news or on Discord. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
